JSON backup gives you an offline safety net for workspaces, notes, bookmarks, and settings without a NexaTabs cloud. Export from the welcome dashboard Settings or the popup.
Import backup is different from the Import Wizard: the wizard merges tool exports into your list; Import backup replaces all local NexaTabs data after an explicit confirm and cannot be undone.
Combine weekly exports with OS disk encryption for stronger resilience.
Limitations
Import backup is a full replace; there is no cloud version history inside NexaTabs.
