Resume a workspace without clearing what is open

Open Alongside lets you restore a saved workspace without first clearing the window. Use it when you need reference tabs from another project while keeping the current session live.

This is different from a full switch or Save and Close: those replace or stash the active set. Open Alongside is additive — useful for research overlays, client comparisons, or pulling docs into an existing flow.

As with other restore actions, only saved URLs come back. Unsaved in-page editor state is not restored.

Limitations

Additive restore only; does not merge conflicting live edits; unsaved page state is not restored.

FAQs

Does Open clear my current tabs?

No. It adds the saved workspace tabs alongside what is already open.

When should I use Open vs Switch?

Use Switch (or Alt+Q) to change projects. Use Open when you need both contexts visible.

Will I get duplicate tabs?

You may if the same URL is already open. Review the window after opening.

Is data synced to the cloud?

No. Workspaces stay local on the device.
