Clear the window without losing the session
Save and Close saves the tabs of an open workspace into that workspace, then closes its tab group. Use it at the end of a client block or the end of the day.
Stash, next to Switch and Organize in the popup and dashboard, is for loose tabs: tabs that are not in a tab group and not pinned. It saves them into the selected workspace, asks before closing them, and closes only the tabs it actually saved. Tabs it cannot save stay open, and a short message tells you how many were saved and skipped. If the selected workspace is already open, Stash works as Save and Close for it.
The workspace remains on the device and can be restored later with one click. This is workspace hygiene: fewer live tabs for the browser to keep running, and a calmer next start.
Neither action snapshots unsaved text inside a page editor. Save that work in the site first.
Limitations
Does not preserve unsaved in-page editor state; Stash only takes loose tabs (not grouped, not pinned).
