NexaTabs 1.0.1: switch contexts instantly, and meet Accounts
Updated: 5 days ago
NexaTabs 1.0.1 is live on the Chrome Web Store. This release is about one idea: treat your browser contexts as workspaces you can park and switch - not as a growing pile of tabs you have to keep open forever.
If you already use NexaTabs, update from the store listing. If you are new here: NexaTabs is a free, privacy-first Chrome extension from Nebula Personalization Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. It stays local on your device - no account, no cloud sync of your workspace graph.

What is new in 1.0.1
One workspace per context. Client work, research, personal browsing, and AI tools each get their own named set of tabs - with optional notes and bookmarks that travel with that project.
Switch from the popup. Pin daily workspaces, set a Quick target, and use Alt+Q for stash-and-switch without hunting through a crowded tab strip.

Search that actually helps. Ctrl+K looks across workspace names, URLs, and notes so you can find the right context without scrolling a long list.
Accounts - same site, multiple logins. Need two WhatsApp Web logins, or a work inbox and a personal one, without juggling whole browser profiles? Accounts gives each login an isolated cookie jar inside its workspace. Site support varies; it is not a substitute for OS-level profiles when you need hard isolation. Read more on Accounts.
A calmer first run with Work, Social, AI, and Personal templates. Also: Save and Close, Import, Zen Mode, and pinned workspaces. See Features.

Why this matters
Tab bars show what is open right now. They are weaker at holding whole contexts you are not using this hour. With NexaTabs you park a full context, clear the window when you are done, and restore it later - see workspace switching. Chrome vertical tabs help you scan a long list; NexaTabs parks whole contexts you can reopen. They work together.
Privacy stays the default
Workspaces, notes, and settings live in local browser storage. There is no NexaTabs account and no vendor cloud sync of your graph. You can export a JSON backup yourself. Local-first is not disk encryption - use OS encryption for stronger at-rest protection - and sites you visit still run their own scripts. The promise is narrow and honest: NexaTabs does not upload your workspace graph. Details: privacy and local storage.
Whether you juggle client work, research, and personal browsing in one Chrome window, or you simply want a calmer way to leave a context and return later, 1.0.1 is built for that everyday switch. We are not inventing install counts or performance benchmarks we cannot back up - just a clear local workspace model you can try in a few minutes.
If something does not fit your workflow yet, tell us on X or through support. NexaTabs is built by Nebula Personalization Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. with privacy as the default, and we would rather ship honest limits than overstated claims.
Try it
NexaTabs 1.0.1 is free on the Chrome Web Store. Add it when you are ready, create a workspace for the context you are in today, and park the rest. For practical how-tos, the Answers hub covers common workflows without the hype.
